As most of you know, Joel and I waited to find out if our little wonder was a boy or a girl. Throughout the pregnancy, many people predicted what we were having but we had a lot of trouble guessing ourselves. As we neared our due date, we were both pretty convinced we were having a boy - especially since we had more trouble coming up with boy names than girl names. Once we were at the hospital most of the nurses also predicted boy so you can imagine our surprise when our sweet girl arrived! Interestingly enough, all of Joel's siblings have had girls first as well. Joel's dad, who is one of five, oldest sibling is also a girl. Uncle Jared - when you have kids, my money is on a girl for you!
