We can hardly believe that Delaney is already 1 month! Time is definitely flying by and our baby girl is already growing up way too fast. She literally changes daily. So that we never forget what she is like at this age, we wanted to capture some of the most precious things about her.

- the way she can melt our hearts with a simple smile
- her tiny and oh so soft feet and hands
- her sweet sweet smell
- her calm nature
- the way that she loves to snuggle with both her mommy & her daddy
- how peaceful she looks when she sleeps
- her beautiful baby blue eyes
- how she changed our lives for the better the moment she was born
- her innocence
- how much she already loves music (favorites include Rockabye Baby Coldplay Lullaby Renditions, Sweet Sweet Baby, Delaney Talks to Statues, Daughter and Goodnight My Angel)
- how she locks eyes with us and without knowing it hours pass while we sit and gaze at each other (we call this "the great stare")
- how much she loves her changing table (we call this her waking table because she always wakes up in a playful and happy mood there)
- her insatiable appetite (barracuda!)
- how much she loves to be swaddled when it's bedtime and how she actually knows the difference between day and night at such an early age
- the precious moments we have when rocking her to sleep
- how independent she already is - she loves to lay on her own, stare out the window, smile and coo
- how much she loves walks and being outside
- her ability to adapt to any setting (she has already played with all 7 of her cousins on the Gagnon side 3 times, attended her first Saturday night birthday bash, had a number of play dates and walks, and has met countless family members and dear friends, and attended her 1st book club!)
- how she lights up when her daddy gets home from work
- how we can both soothe her in different but equally important ways
- the way that she holds our hands with her small but strong grip
- her adorable newborn clothes (she looks especially beautiful in pink!)
- how fast her nails grow and how daddy is the best at filing them down
- how small she looks when we've spent even just 10 minutes without her in our arms
- her full belly after she eats
- her ability to sleep a 5+ hour stretch each night (thank you sweet girl!!)
- how playful she is in the mornings
- snuggling with her in our bed
- how from the second she was born she knew our voices and was instantly comforted by them
- our countless nicknames for her (Laney Bug, Honey Bear, Sweet Sweet Baby, Love Bug, Baby Girl, Blue Eyes, Pumpkin Bumpkin, Laney Bear, Pumpkin Pie, Bugaboo, Sweetie, Laney Baby (thanks for that one Dinsmores!!))
